Training station
Burning ship simulator
The ship simulator is constructed from shipping containers arranged in a formation that mimics the structure of a ship, equipped with internal and external ladders, windows, doors, decks, and firing stations.
Inside the trainer, obstacles, furniture, openings, and passages have been set up to make the training conditions as close to real life as possible.
The trainer consists of two main parts – the first is the fire component, and the second is the tactical component. In the firefighting part, the key elements are LPG-powered firing stations and areas where class A, B, and C fires are simulated. Simulated fires in the staff room, engine room, electrical switchboard room, and foam filling of the room make the exercises more realistic.
The simulator is equipped with electrical and gas installations, mechanical ventilation, as well as main and emergency lighting installations with safety buttons. In addition, the ship simulator has a hydrant and sprinkler system. The installed safety system, consisting of cameras, temperature sensors, oxygen and gas concentration monitors, and motion sensors in the rooms, ensures that trainees are safe and under full control. The devices in this gas system can be controlled from a wireless remote control or from the control room. The ship simulator is the only training device of its kind in Poland that simulates a fire on a vessel.
